Math Center Ideas for Students with Disabilities

Math is one of my least favorite subjects to learn and teach. I hated it as a kid and I'm still not a fan of it. Center time is when we get the chunk of our math instruction in for the day. The first few weeks of school we have been focusing on numbers, counting, and identifying colors. Here are a few of the math centers we have done.

Matching colors with clothes pins.

Variety of number links (varying from easier to harder based on the prompts you give with hole punches) to practice counting and sequencing.
